Just read Gerry's blog and it states "If madeleine is not found in the next couple of weks we need to move out of the appartment we have been staying in as the family is coming out for a holiday"!!!!!!!! WTF - a HOLIDAY!!!!! This has just made me feel sick to the stomach, instead of coming out to assist in the search for Maddie, the family want to come out to Portugal for a free holiday!!!!!! Now I wonder, does this answer where the money is going thats been donated to 'Team McCann'?????

He means the family that own the apartment they are staying in are coming for a holiday, so The McCanns have to move out from this particular apartment.

This is going on and on and I think every aspect of this whole thing has been discussed already. It has been a holiday from the start. I thought they holiday would end when Madeleine went missing, but guess what it continue and boy did it continue. I have said this before and I am saying it again. Something is not right about the whole set up.

well, how people can say it's the family who own the appartment i don't know, when the appartment is owned by the holiday company.

I think it is impossible to appreciate how hard life is for the McCann family without having been there. What do WE know about losing one's child?
And ifr it WERE them talking about a holiday then consider that it is crucial for sanity's sake as life needs to keep going for the sake of everyone else (including her two siblings who are totally innocent whatever your views on money, responsibility and the media slant).
I mean- they are not abandoning all hope or even desecrating her "memory" but accepting that they DO need some non-on-tenterhooks-24/7-time too, if they WERE to have a "family holiday"...
I think we, Joe Blogg Public, have altogether too many opinions on a topic we know NOTHING about. How many of us had our beautiful daughter taken from us and are struggling to cope with that? I have only ever seen a friend of mine scatter the ashes of her son, died at age 8, and remember the anguishing sound of her sobbing. I do NOT want to be in the McCann shoes, NO THANK you, however much money is being chucked at them!

Addition : It wasn't misunderstanding, it was jumping to conclusions which you vigilantes are very good at, read what you have written yourself - its blatantly obvious what it means! Just think very carefully before you make any comment on this issue! Whatever the McCanns do it seams any course of action will upset someone! They have put themselves under the spotlight to try to raise public awareness to try to find their little girl, this is admirable whatever the circumstances of her disappearance so please try to keep that in mind. Perhaps this incident will help you understand how untrue rumours start and how things get blown out of proportion, this is why it is impossible to believe anything you hear about them! I apologise for my earlier comment but I'm sure you can see now why you people make me so angry.
Nobody ever made you judge, jury and executioner all rolled into one!!
