With reference to the Maddie thing! it's not something I have commented on, but I got this from an acquaintance with the Portuguese police.

Quote:-

If this is true how can the Portuguese police ever find the body? It has been about fifty days and it will be buried under tonnes of land fill.

BB 2002 it comes straight from a Portuguese police officer, who is also a very good friend. I have only copied and pasted a small part of the disposition/statement. The rest of it was even more controversial. I don't do controversial.

Bib momma, nice name by the way, the Portuguese police are not allowed to release any information about ongoing case/investigations and that is one reason for the suspicion surrounding this Maddie thing.

So sorry I meant Big!

BB, the Portuguese police have lots of information that they are not allowed to disclose it's their constitution/rules all law varies from country to country. Big Mom vis a vie your geological search. I think you may have the Indian question back to front::In the Staffordshire/Shropshire area it is known as an Inuit or American Indian name. Hope this helps

It is about time that the real truth came out about these two.

2007-06-24 14:41:10 · update #6

miss Essex this is no hoax. Look at my profile and my questions and answers I don't do that. I had to think long and hard before I posted this. AS I understand it the Portuguese police are not allowed to publicly disclose information about crimes that have not been resolve. I think the same rule applies in the UK.

How many polititions and business men have been caught out by the same sort of "leaked" stories?

Mr Dickens lover ebeneezersroug. Not sure I got your name right but you are 100% correct.

2007-06-25 05:13:40 · update #8

In response to peoples request to post the whole thing I tried. But yahoo did not let me. It has been scanned in with a *.max extension and I can only view it with Paperport. I also tried to blog it on 360 the same thing happened. If anyone knows how to get it on here I would be grateful.

By the way, for those who asked/suggested I pass this to the police, the distribution list indicates that this statement went to the British, French, German and Spanish police, also Interpol and the Moroccan emigration? Don't ask me why emigration!

Wouldn't surprise me, i have had my suspicions for a long time. The problem is that the Portuguese do handle investigations differently.
Also i would add with the enormous "support" for the family from some very powerful people, i very much doubt if the truth will ever emerge. Just don't understand the reason for that level of support.
Yes, i know, lots of thumbs down. But i am entitled to my opinion too.

I asked Bo, (onepintcan) to e-mail me this which he did on the understanding that I would not divulge any names here.

What he has failed to explain is that this document has been distributed to almost every police force in Europe. Also it is a scanned document and very hard to work with. The first 4 pages are hand written, in I think Portuguese. Then there are 47 pages translating it into other languages, English, French German etc. The other thing about the document is that it has the name and ID's of the police officers who interviewed the witness and that information should not be disclosed here.

Here is a web news clipping for those interested: http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2005320001-2007260742,00.html

Your question makes me wonder. Here in the US, they track what part of the landfill a certain addresses trash is dumped. They track the truck and it's driver. They also can use a piece of equipment that is like sonar/x-ray, can't think of the name of it that can send back images about what is underground. There are also dogs trained as "corpse sniffers" that can track a dead body. Any prints on that waste receptical? Any skin cells, hair, clothing fibers?

It sounds like the informant may have confused a few things. A street person? high on thunderbird wine? drugs? an ax to grind with "Gerry"? I general description of a person can also fit many other people. Yes there are a lot of questions floating around.

where did you here this? so the Police are aware of this are they?

Who is the quote from? The acquaintance or the Police?

Its highly unlikely. But Id like to know how you came about this quote, if its not just a wind up that is?

True or not, that is a very serious statement to make. It should be passed on to the Police, so if this is a wind up, I should own up now before someone, somewhere decides to take this further. If you are genuine, this post should be copied and sent to the Police. Why does it say "interpret" in the quote? Was this said in Portugese? You need to give more details, Im sure you know how serious a statement like that is, true or not.

Let me get this straight- it was a POLICEMAN wrote this to you? Why would he do that?

So, its a statement from a witness?

So its genuine then? Are you saying that the Police know Gerry is involved, but arnt publicising it? Maybe your Policeman friend wanted there to be "a leak"?

It doesnt matter about being "controversial", if it helps to solve the mystery of Maddy, then you should do something with it? Send it to me, I dont care about being controversial. :)

So. Gerry is a suspect then?

Why havnt they arrested him? Or are the keeping it quiet, while watching him? Still dont know what to make of this post.

Dolly k, thats a very interesting and valid point! Well remembered. I think I believe the poster actually, they dont come across as being a hoaxer, not at all. Curiouser and curiouser....

IF this statement were true then im sure it has been checked out by the police. If someone had seen Gerry putting a body into a bag do you think he'd be allowed to walk free?

Also, you say you dont do controversial - if thats the case why post this with no proof?

58 days and people wonder why some of us feel there's more too it....this is hows its been played out by two people who've just had their daughter stolen from under their nose...while they merely had "a meal in the garden".
Visit Morocco, Madrid
Shop for clothes to meet the Pope. Rome (audience with the Pope)
Fly to Berlin, Amsterdam and several internal flights within each Country....
Hold and attend press conferences,
press releases for countless other Countries,
Photo opportunities,
Organise and attend balloon releases,
Write a daily blogg,
Answering emails daily from kind people, family friends and well wishers,
Attend campaign meetings,
Visit England to see flowers placed in memory of Madeleine at their home town,
Save life of someone on the way over here, have wallet stolen,
Organise, advertise and hold Interview for Lawyers, Campagne manager, An Accountant,
Write to give notice for present job, apply and accept career change,
Organise and set up Google input for campagne,
yellow ribbon idea,
Set time aside daily for twins,
Pick up several family and friends from the airport in Portugal who want come visit,
Search papers for new address,
Move into new premises,
A lot can happen in 58 days....must help to keep busy ...and I know only a fraction of what they've done is here but it suprised me that they hardly show any emotion and haven't from the onset.....
Its just got strangeer and wierder from day to day....

If you are telling the truth then you must report this to the police or alert an English newspaper/news programme. If on the other hand it is a hoax, please own up now.

I am sorry for asking whether it was a hoax, I have read your profile and I can see it is not the sort of thing you would do. Have you reported it though?

Sorry but I have always wondered why he could remain calm when his baby was missing, I would have been unable to talk, he should be back here facing charges of neglect and not still be on "holiday", sorry but I can't stand the man and I am a pretty good judge of character.

Yes, Police should have all information they can get. Not enough questions and prosecutions have taken place, whats happened to neglect for a start, 3 babies left in an apartment ! what !! disgusting.
