Bobby Cutts was apparently a man-whore who had women coming out of the woodwork. I think he hooked up with this Myisha Ferrell (just arrested today as an accessory to the crime) and he didn't realize how unstable she was and SHE committed the murder and he helped HER get rid of the body, but is covering up for her. I think, maybe, he might have wanted to just scare Jesse Davis into leaving him alone or agreeing not to press for child support, but he brought this Ferrell woman with him and things got out of hand. I've read reports from Ferrells neighbors that make her sound like a nutcase...Anyone agree? The man had too much to lose...he was only 30, a cop in good standing with his whole life ahead of him. I think he feels guilty that he brought this Ferrell woman into it and that it was his idea to scare Davis, so he feels its his fault anyway. They took several bottles of bleach from Ferrells apartment....what do you think?

I do not believe his inital intent was to murder Ms. Davis because, he would have been more calculating when carrying out the plan. Otherwise, Mr. Cutts would not have sloppily tried to conceal evidence (by using bleach) or called over an accomplice (after the crime) to help hide the body. Even though he is a psychopath, being a law enforcement official, I would think he'd be more calculating.
I believe Mr. Cutts went to Ms. Davis's house to confront her about something (maybe Ms. Davis filed a petition for child support, disclosed the paternity of the child to everyone in town, talked to wifey, etc..). A fight occurred and in the process of the scuffle, Mr. Cutts caused a fatal injury to Ms. Davis.
Mr. Cutts has a history of aggression and violence toward women. He fits the profile of a megalomaniac and he probably feels a sense of entitlement to doing whatever as long as he is the one in control of the situation. That's probably why he has gotten away with fathering children by multiple women and they were still willing to remain involved with him - "Mind Control".
As far as Ms. Ferrell is concerned, I am curious to know if they had a romantic involvement, based on her mug shot, she is not the easiest on the eyes, but then again some man-whores do not discriminate.
However, they could have dated in the past, or ocassionally freak each other. In order for Cutts to get Ferrell to participate she must have either owed Cutts a big favor and/or is really in love with him. I'm sure all the gorry details will emerge soon.
My heart goes out for the Davis family.

Interesting theory, but I disagree. I think he would have thrown Myisha "under the bus" so to speak, in a heartbeat. He was way too selfish....I don't think he would have left the child all alone for as long as he did if he had a conscience. Have you seen pics of the women he's dated in the past? If he hooked up with Myisha Ferrell he was only using her. What I don't understand is why someone like Jesse got involved with him in the first place. What hold did he have on these women??
He was pretty unstable himself according to his record.
My theory is that he pushed her, or things got out of control and he hadn't thought it through. He probably called that Myisha girl over to help him move the body. I think the little boy probably told the grandmother and authorities that he saw his daddy do it, but they kept it quiet. I had wondered if his wife could have been involved, and maybe he felt guilty and was covering for her, but obviously she didn't have any part in it. So sad for that sweet little boy too.

You raise a good point. I hadn't considered that Ms. Ferrell could be more involved than just moving the body and cleaning up.
But he had children with women all over town while he was married. From what I've read at least one of the women has a restraining order against him. I don't think he's capable of feeling guilty about anything let alone guilty enough to protect another woman from anything.
Sorry, I think he did it.

I have a feeling that Bobby's' estranged wife, Kelly (with whom he has two daughters), is the likely suspect.
Kelly and Bobby have been separated since February and she is aware of her husband's relationship with Davis.
Jealousy?
Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned...or, cheated on!
Kelly could have gotten the key from her husband and whacked Jessie.
Kelly might have called Bobby and asked for help in removing the body.
It could be that both Kelly and Bobby are suspects but authorities are keeping quite to heat up the investigation.
By the way - Bobby is NO PRINCE.
One of his ex-girlfriends, hottie model Nikki Giavasis, claims that Cutts once kicked down her door when he broke into her house after they broke-up because he was upset that she was dating someone new.
She had to have several restraining orders taken out against him, she said, including one in 2007.
He also hit and verbally abused their daughter, who no longer is allowed to see him.
