Ok so start small and go big.
Try to get into small plays* it helps for the basics, then if your really confident try to go for the small screen. * i sugesst befor doing this to go to a teens acting school anywere near you. if you do good then you can put it on your resume.
**then you go and try out for the small screen. then go bigger!!
make sure you check the scripts and get good ones. you dont want to be playing and sound amaturish! never look at the camera and act natural. act like your not acting! :)

In part, it has to come naturally. What I mean is, a good lot of people act like they're acting.

You need to get into the role, not just act, but actually BE the person. Think how it would feel to be THEM in their situation. And don't just say the words, but mean them. Think behind what is being said and look at the motive. For example "Don't go." can mean so many different things. It all depends on how you say it. If you day it as if you were saying "I want you to love me." then it's way different from "I want to beat you up."

Act and perform in plays. When you get a role, write a note to the Talent Agencies in your city, and invite them to see the show. Always leave a FREE ticket for the agent.
