Lets remember he is only 2 years old. Maybe this little boy was abused by dad and was terribly afraid of him. Maybe dad had a mask on. Yes what the boy said was the truth but not giving all the info is because of his age and his fears. Maybe somehow he had enough sense to know if he told on his daddy then daddy would do it to him to. Poor little guy. Lets hope this is something he will not hold in his memorys.

Since I have seen all of the Columbo's, I'm qualified to answer. The little boy was sleeping and Jessie was murdered in their apartment. He didn't understand the correlation between the person that killed her and the person there in the room. He watched that person roll her in a carpet after the murder. The reason he wasn't killed was because the murder had a connection with him. If it was random, they would have killed that little boy, too. As of now, there have been two arrests. I think we can all figure out who did it and why.

I've been glued to this story, and was immediately suspicious of the child's father and his wife. It's interesting, though, that the little boy never mentioned "Daddy". I understand that they've arrested the father, but I can't help but think that if this little boy had seen his father hurt his mother he would have included him in his list of events.

The story I heard this morning was a little bit confusing-- did they find her body in/near a friend's apartment? And did this same friend have her cell phone and lots of empty bottles of cleaning products? I guess I'm not sure how that translated into arresting the toddler's father. Ha! Now I've turned your question into one of my own!

I think the child saw exactly what happened. Maybe alot of time searching could have been saved if someone had asked the child who he saw with mommy.

Another shining example of America's police force at work. A cop killed his girlfriend to avoid child support.

They have people who are experts in interviewing children that young. It has to be done very carefully. I suspect that the boy said more than that but they aren't making it public.

I think it is so sad. I am watching Fox News right now and they keep talking about it and it just breaks my heart. I feel so bad for the familes and the little boy.
