v2 = ?
v2 = v1+ a A t
=10 m/s + (5 m/s2) ( 3 )
= 10m/s + 15 m/s
= 25m/s

a calculation to determine a car's final speed after accelerating for 3 sec .
what would be the speed have been after 3 seconds ? my answer was 25 m/s
not sure if it is calculated in the right equasion ? the other choices 20m/s 30m/s 35m/s

You have to understand the problem and not just substitute some numbers to some equations. Otherwise your calculation and your result are correct.

I got 25 as well... and that is the correct equation.
