Sadly the terrorists have the answer.
America is far removed from the wars, and turmoil in the world that it has created.
Americans can still name the lead American Idol, but have no idea how many troops died for their country this week.
They still buy gas cheaper than some of the countries that suppl it (Canada)
While Europe save gas using standard small vehicles, and diesel, Americans use gas like water.
9/11 was a shock to America, that brought the worlds troubles to their door, a wake up call that lasted until the next American Idol
Until Americans live the stress of an Iraqis, they just won't understand.
9/11 was not a wake up call, just the first time you hit the snooze button

are people more outraged by Bush or the 9/11 planes crashing?
people wanted to stop hitler before ww2 but they didn't and many regretted it later...
but then only history will really tell and if we are all safe (well... those countries who cared enough to try...) we will probably be safe to bag Bush as wrong... bacause we will be FREE to do so.... and no secret police or vigilante gangs....
But I think he was right... and is right..
enough people aagreed he was doing the right thing that he was re-elected (no matter if you so it was a sham - if no one vated for him he wouldn't have gotten in!)
the world's problem would not be solved if bush wasn't in...
there are problem out there that do not relate to bush at all..
remember the 9/11 attacks were planned on clintons watch... have we forgotten this? if you are easy on terrorism it gets to think it can actually succeed... but luckily we are proving that it gets it butt kicked 6 ways from sunday if it is stupid enough to wake the sleeping giant.

When big business put Bush into office they surrounded him with the greediest Hitler type people they could get. And I'm a Republican.
I will admit voting for him is the worst mistake I
ever made. He has done more damage to our country than any president ever.

The use of "we" suggests that someone other than you believe this. You asked a stupid question. We, being the American people, believe President Bush is/has done a great job. Now if you can list something in particular that President Bush has done that is questionable, I am sure you will receive all kinds of feedback. Be careful though, the majority of Americans are very smart!

We, the people, Jeff W, are the people who have not forgotten the visions of our forefathers. We, the people, are the ones who recall the particulars of a democracy once formed. We, the people, are the ones who recall a President, George Washington, as belonging to no political party and his expressed hopes that they would not be formed. We, the people, are the ones who recall his farewell address that warned we, the people, of the EVILS of political parties. We, the people, are the ones who recall a democracy formed, whereas supreme power was vested in us. Thereby, our survival was found. The 'We' you refer to is the new breed of leeches who have found their survival in the one who has vested supreme power in himself. I beg to differ with you, Jeff W, that this is a stupid question. There are no wrong questions...only wrong answers. God forbid that we ever stop asking, and may we may rest on knowing that truth is our aim. Must we ever find ourselves tolerating a society in which we are slandered because of a voice that cries out to question? Your leaders are responsible to you, Jeff W. Why? Not because they may or may not have lied, but because they are your leaders. The real issue is not the wrong or the right that our leaders have done, but rather the leadership itself. Any good leader will always be ready to place his actions upon the scales of justice. When he runs from his accountabilities, and hides behind the diversities in society, he has failed we, the people. Understanding what it means to be an American, we are quick to see that when he fails one, he fails ALL, despite that he is supported by some. Should you wish to exclude yourself, Jeff W, from we, the people, then by all means, you are a free man. Just remember, however, that there remains both smart and wise Americans, who are ever ready and unafraid to challenge and debate with those who dispute the evils that exist today. In lieu of your question, Climatbot, we, the people, are outraged. There exists a power that has taken the people's voices from them and they are not readily heard. Grant it, we have a freedom of speech, but we are slandered up and down for our views, and it suppresses our voices. After all, who wishes to be publicly ridiculed? Sadly, this is what it has become. There are people, despite the numbers, for when there is but one man left who holds fast to the wisdom of our forefathers, he alone holds the key and the power to change the world for the good of all mankind.
Thank you for your question, Climatbot.
"To announce that there must be no criticism of the president, or that we are to stand by the president right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public." -Theodore Roosevelt

What outrages me is people that give aid and comfort to our enemy. To encourage the terrorist and cause unnecessary deaths to our troops. I've had two sons go over there and I get personally upset at idiots that prolong the war just because they can't sand losing an election (twice) To sell out our country just to regain power is sick. Please pay attention to what those Jihadist idiots are saying with regard to this country.

What would you have us do? His ratings are the lowest they could be. He will be out of office shortly. Impeachment at this point is not possible. Would take far too long. He has insured that the next president will be a Dem. Unless they are dumb enough to run Hillary. Then people like me will come out of the woodwork and actually vote. For any Rep that runs.

There is a simple answer to this question, see below:
You people of the US of A are far too gullible. You have allowed and continue to allow perpetual brainwashing by your President and his puppets.
Instead of whinging on about his complete incompetence why don't you do something about it? You constantly exhibit acquiescence.
Get one of your many retarded aquaintances to curtail his neanderthal activities once and for all. Put him in a zoo where he belongs!
Finally please improve your spelling, you may confuse some of your fellow countrymen.

pretty white women.
more people know what's going on this week with lohan/hilton/spears than they do about the world at large.
of course PWW aren't all to blame, it's just symptomatic of a bigger problem. we're distracted by stuff that's not really all that important, but in a way in relation to most people's frame of reference, it is important.
that's why there's no draft or current tax hike (later generations will shoulder the burden of funding all this stuff), if it affected people now, then we'd be more outraged.
