My grandparents anniversary is coming up, and I have gathered beads that represent or remind me of each of the grandchildren. Now the question is, what do I do with them? I had thought I might make a necklace (my grandmother loves stuff like that), but then what about my grandfather? So the question is: What can I make, using beads, that would be a good present for my grandparents' anniversary?

not sure how many beads but you can make a beaded night light for them for a hallway or bathroom and they'd be sure to think of you often as a constant reminder.

lamp or fan pulls
beaded wind chimes
magnet frame for fridge
beads add nice trim to socks, scarves knitted bags mitts, curtains
I've also seen small beaded lamps
light switch cover
pillow fridge

Good luck with whichever you choose
lots of creativity with beads for sure

It would all depend on how many beads you have for the grandchildern. It would be a cool idea if the beads representing the grandchildern were one of a kind, special and then if there weren't a lot or even if there were, you could do a white backdrop of beads and the representational beads in the backdrop for a key chain.

Another idea is to have all the granchildern together in a picture and use the beads in a picture frame of some sort to frame the picture. Just a thought...I know my grandparents would love that

If your Grandfather likes to read, you can make him a bookmark w/ the beads.

Also, doing a window sun catcher is good too. Just put a big crystal or other large bead on the end & do all the other beads in a row above so the crystal hangs down. I made a bunch of these for Christmas gifts & everyone loves them.

I'm not too crafty, but maybe this might work. I was thinking you could get a copy of a photo from their wedding, and make a cute frame for it to go in with your beads.

If you have enough, you might make a beaded wall hanging or pillow, either of which would be an appropriate couples gift.
(That's really sweet, btw.)

Why not scrapbook a page for your grandparents add the beads then frame the page. Use additional scrapbook items to personalize .This way grandmom can brag to everyone that visits.

several things! a decorative frame is good ($ store stuff makes great base pieces to decorate)...if you crochet, you could make a nice doily for a table; christmas ornaments are also good! beads are very versatile and can be mixed with many other crafty mediums. good luck!

Search the web for sun catcher designs. Make them one and suspend the beads from it. They can hang it in their window to enjoy everyday, and be reminded of you and the other grandchildren.
