If this PVC pipe was put in right, you'll never get it off, wrench or no wrench. You'll have to cut it as close as possible to where you can reach it, then when your done, reinstall it with a coupler and another piece of pipe.

It is strange to have a pipe coming from the floor and the wall. Basically you just tie a tail piece and a trap assembly into the one going down the wall. Just unscrew them with a wrench and cut your holes in vanity according to where the drains runs. Good Luck.

There is a tail piece from the drain and then a trap. All are connected with compression fittings to the drain line stub-out (usually comes out of the wall). Newer plumbing can be removed without tools - there are finger tabs on the nuts.

PVC pipe is glued, regular pipe isn't, so use a wrench to carefully remove it.

if the drain pipe going to the wall is a threaded pipe then you can remove it,be careful if the pipe is old it Can get crushed.use pipe dope on threads when you put the pipe back to prevent leaks.

If it is PVC it will be glue so you will need to cut it back and the pipe into it with new fittings.

If the pipe is PVC, it's glued. If it is steel, you can unscrew it. If it is PVC, cut it and get a coupling to reinstall it.
