He's nothing but an extension of the Bush administration.

He's a skilled orator, but his messages change frequently to capture the popular vote.

He's a globalist, while I'm big on American sovereignty.

He smoked Cuban cigars, which is illegal, until he got called out on it.

I was on board with him early on, but now it saddens me to see how many people view him as the savior of the GOP. He's just another pro-war neocon.

I think Fred Thompson would be an average president. He would just kind of be there. I don't think he would bring any change or fresh prospective. He'd be fine. But I really think the best option of change and more effective governance is Mitt Romney. He is fixer and looks like he would be the most likely to curb out of control spending and implement accountability in the Government bureacracy. http://www.dryflypolitics.com

Fred Thompson would be the carbon copy of G.W. Bush.

All war, all the time.

A 200% improvement over the incumbent idiot.
Much better than Hilary Clinton could ever hope to be.
About equal in capability and honor as Barack Obama.
Probably not quite as good as Bill Clinton.
Not nearly as good as Jimmy Carter.
Possibly as great as Dwight D. Eisenhower.
A helluva lot better than Ronald Reagan or LBJ.
Probably as good - or better - than Kennedy.
Better than Franklin D. Roosevelt.
As good as Harry Truman.
As good as Theodore Roosvelt.

No. He spent years as a Washington pimp...uhhh...i mean, lobbyist.

He bought and sold the direction of America for a living with no thought to the consequences. Spewed any line you wanted as long as your check cleared.

No, anybody that would make and broadcast a hateful video on YouTube like he did should never be allowed to hold a position with that kind of power.

It's too early to tell, but he deserves as much consideration as anyone else. He has a record in Congress. He has position papers. Read them, see how he stacks up with your views.
