I think i'd choose edward woodward when he was in his equaliser prime. Cool and sophisticated, but you wouldn't want to mess with me in a deserted subway or cramped lift.

Picking from contemporary actresses....i like frances mcdormad in fargo. Reese Witherspoon is impressive.
For actors, I'd take Tom Hanks in a heartbeat. As long as it's not Andy Garcia, then i'm happy.
