Yes, some pregnancy tests are designed to work up to 4 or 5 days BEFORE your missed period. However, they are not nearly as accurate before that "magic" day. When you get pregnant, you body starts making a pregnancy hormone. This hormone is what the home pregnancy test is trying to detect to see if you are or are not pregnant. The closer to conception you test, the less hormone you'll have in your body and the less accurate the test would be. If you DO decide to take an early pregnancy test, do it during your FIRST urination of the morning, so that the pregnancy hormone will have built up in your urine (if you ARE preggers!) and you will get an accurate response! yes, 1st response but the best one is Clearblue. That can tell you 5 days before your period is due but get the digital one (around £12 for a pack of 2) from any supermarket/chemist and take it on the first morning wee to make sure it is the strongest and longest wee which would be more concentrated with HCG at this early stage.

yes, as early as 4-5 days before buy a good one and take it first thing in the morning.
I tested one day early and at 11PM! I just couldn't wait I knew I was... and yep it was + but very faint lines...I tested again on the missed day and a week later the lines got darker the longer I waited ...good luck and congrats

Yes, read the directions. Some tests are as soon as five days before your scheduled period.

they do have the first response but the earlier you take the less accurate. just wait a few more days unless you are going crazy

Usually,no.Some of the new ones are very sensitive--so read the label and see if that's possible.
