i want to attempt all the things i've mentioned above. what are some good tips/directions on how to do these?
for aerial cartwheels, i'm gonna start on perfecting my cartwheel, then move on to a one handed cartwheel, then an aerial (if i can do it).
I'M PROBABLY NOT GOING TO ATTEMPT A BACKFLIP, MOST LIKELY A BACK HANDSPRING.
i'm not strong on a bridge when i bend back by myself.
no, i don't take gymnastics and i don't own a trampoline.
good tips. thanks!

Please. Go to a gym and learn these with a trained instructor. You are putting your neck and back at risk without one.

I would not recommend the advanced techniques w/ out someone standing over you to spot you when you first try things out. Also have a video camera so you can watch your moves to see what went wrong when you were not able to do something, and to see what worked when you succeeded.

You do have the right thinking of perfecting yoru cartwheel first, then go into one hand, then the no hands... this is steps. Take your time.

Also to strengthen your back do some back and neck stretches to prevent injury and increase flexibility. Lay on your back, and arch into a bride, and do this up to 10 times breathing out as you come up.
Also, strengthn your abs, because they will be incorporated into these techniques especially w/ back flips and front hand springs.

One last note, to get you ready for front hand springs, try doing a whip over. it's almost the same, but from a headstand, or handstand, and then doing the same motion. It gets you used to the motion in a more controlled environment.

Most of all, be careful and be patient.

I'm a martial artist and am am on the demo team, and am in the process of learning some of these skills, especially those I can do with a hip injury (from a car accident years ago.)

I know what you mean SG. I normally do the back handsprings and cartwheels before I clamour into bed with a person. It's a good interlude, methinks, and the girl bits just bounce and bounce and bounce. It's entertainment value is like Master Card, priceless. Too bad I'm not priceless, I'm costly and I don't accept credit cards - only cash and crack.
