Yes. That's just it. They are probably fat themselves and trying to take the focus off of themselves by pointing the finger at others.

It depends on who the other people are. If you mean people from other countries, may be. If you mean criticism from us, Yes we have the right to complain. Not directly to the individuals, but to the country as a whole. Having an over weight society cost all Americans. Obesity causes health problems which costs all of us money down the road.
Our government doesn't believe in helping American people with health insurance. They only stick a band -aid on the problem and brag about it when people start to complain about how our government's care less attitude on health care in America. The bulk and the cost of the burden falls back on you and me. Diabetics, high blood pressure and heart disease ,cancer, handy cap people in wheel chairs, and the list goes on and on. And when you go to restaurant, you are served enough food for 2 to 3 people which just adds to the problem. Yes I complain I have a right too. But not so much to the overweight individual, but to our society as a whole. It's as if America is going down the drain and no one wants to stick a plug in it. The next time a presidential candidate gets up to talk about health care in America, notice he only talks about the problem.Never about what he will do about it. He wants you to vote for him thinking he will do something about it. But if elected, will do little or nothing. And it's been that way for a long, long time.

As an American I feel that other Americans who are overweight and unhealthy are a waste. I wish public funded research was used for Autism, cancer or something useful rather than exploring surgeries for human beings who have no control. I think it is almost offensive, especially on public transportation. Please pay more if you plan to take up that much space. My hard earned taxes should not go to your health care. Darwinism. As an American who pays taxes yes it is my business.

Weight is a personal thing. Unless I want someone's opinion about my weight, then they better keep it to themselves. There aren't any of us out here who are overweight who don't know it. Nobody needs to tell us. So, yes, they should keep their yap shut.
