We just saw Nancy Drew, and it was wonderful! But, I want to know, is the movie based by a book in the series, or did they make it up?

like most films the movie is based on the books

I assume its based loosely off the books, however they should have picked a blonde actress who resembles the character portrayed in the novel series.

theres probably a book about the plot , theres a lot of NANCY DREW books, and whats the name of the mystery is what you would have to find out, then search it on the borders website. idk
