if you have a cd burner you can burn a VCD which will work in most DVD players. the picture quailty is less than normal. Nero has a VCD option to burn videos.

VCD means video CD

you can buy a DVD burner for a good price on the net and just swap with the cd drive you already have. all cables fit the same. just upplug the one, remove 4 screws ,slide it out, put new one in and put it back just as you found it. the computer will find it and do the rest

Throw the DVD disc to a bonfire, and wait till it's burned out... Just kidding!. You need a DVD burner or if owning a CD burner, split the DVD contents in a way they fit the CDs capacity.
