depending on what trans you have in the car,you may or may not have a dipstick.if you do have one it will be the red handled tward the firewall on the pass. side.if you don't see one then take it to your dealer and have them check the level.there is a plug on the back of this trans that has to be pulled while the car is running and level.hope this helps

if the 4 speed automatic in it then its a 4T40E transmission and no dipstick for it only a fill cap on top of trans under the area of the brake master cylinder usually red in color.to check the fluid will have to have car in the air at operating temp shut car off and next to where the axle goes into the trans at the passenger side a 7/16th plug open it up if steady stream then full if not then close plug add through the cap and repeat process till you get the steady stream

its near the battery right around that area but becareful those things are prone to break off and fall down into the transmission

It does not have one. GM decided customers could not check the fluid level and get it filled right. GM has a technician tool to check the fluid level.
