I have a 99 honda accord V6 EX and would really like to the cars transmission to a manual, i dont know if its possible since its a way more powerful engine than the 4 cylinder accords, and the automatic transmission that i have on right now is controlled by a computer. So please give me some ideas because ive never seen a V6 accord with a manual transmission. And if it is possible how much will it cost.

Thanks

From time to time people ask this question (or something like it). The basic consensus is that:

(a) yes it is possible

(b) it is much cheaper to just sell your car then buy another with a stick

(c) when it actually converted, the quality of your car will be largely dependent on the aptitude of the mechanic.

(d) you will have more trouble related to the conversion that's going to cost you $$$.

Good Luck

Better off just buying an Accord with a manual transmission instead of changing the transmission.

You may have problems down the road with the car if you swap.

You can swap any automatic tranny 2 a manual although it may cost more than the cars value itself, so best bet is 2 sell ur car 4 and buy the same car with a manual tranny, its much easier and saves u money

I believe you can but it's gonna set you back between 5000 and 10000 dollars
