I put up with headaches for the longest time, til I broke down and bought Tylenol Rapid Release.

Also.. whenever I tell someone I have a headache, they say.... DRINK MORE WATER!!!

I don't know how or why that helps, but it does. Drink lots and lots of water.

Are your headaches due to lack of caffeine? Did you drink a lot of soda or coffee before?

Sometimes if I have a headache, and I haven't drank soda in a while, I try drinking a Dr. Pepper to get some caffeine in me... (I know its not great for the baby, but if you're really in pain, it helps.)

Also... I get lots and lots of sinus headaches, being that I'm 16 weeks pregnant. Try a hot compress on your face/sinuses, or nasal spray. AND a humidifier!!!

Hope that helps a bit!

Could it be related to allergies? If so do not take sudafed, instead get something like vicks/eucalyptus...place a small amount in a warm boel of water. Take a towel and place it over your head over the bowl...Inhale through your nose the fumes of the euthalatum...It will help...

Tylenol is safe but not to much...A warm or cold compress accross the back of the neck or temples helps. And if it is your sinuses try what I've stated above or place a warm compress at the sinus area...which is each side of your nose under the eye and between the eyebrow...

Like some people said; Tylenol is ok. As long as you take it in moderation and not everyday. In pregnancy you are going to have to get used to aches and pains. But if you are suffering, then depending on how far along you are, you baby feels pain as well. So don't beat yourself up over a tylenol, but its great you are so health conscience! Congrats on the baby!

Tylenol is best to take when you're pregnant. the doctors told me that is what I should take, over all over headache/pain relievers.

Don't take anything, just sleep it off or wait it out. It's best to not have any meds while pregnant. Pretend it's a test of labor & see how you can bear it. I never take meds when I'm pregnant & I survived headaches. Too many people are pill poppers, use your inner strength.

To be honest it's not really safe to take anything at all !

Uness the headache is killing you, try to put up with it for the baby's sake.

have your partner help you do some tempo and relaxing massage instead. Not as effective as pills but it provide opportunity for him to share what a mother has to go through and let him practice how to become a better not only the other half but also a father would be.
