Not at all.
Love a terrorist and they will still bomb you off the face of the planet. Clearly, love is the recipe to your early death.
The concept of love assumes that others feel that they are "unlovable", this is not true. Not everyone feels this way, and as a result, not everyone responds to this.

First: There is no evil only ignorance and its consequences.
Second: The only weapon against ignorance is understanding.
Third: Love is an emotion. It has no power of its own except to spur one into action. What that action is or how it will be accomplished is a function of what the person understands.
Fourth: You are bored because you have no self-understanding. Self-understanding is found internally after all inherited assumptions about reality are rejected and the perspective you are made of value is accepted. Only this true and universal perspective puts one naturally on the road to self-understanding. Self-understanding brings the best possible existence. An existence absent boredom because value constantly works to gratify itself.

Love is a very subjective term! Kindness, reason, and respect are the best weapons against evil.

You don't see results right away, but in the long term it works wonders. The trick is to keep using it.
Actually -- I'm with Hauntedtreehouse. Google "Thomas Nast." You can have your Ghandi and your Martin Luther King; give me a guy who can topple a political machine through sheer ridicule.

I don't think so. Love doesn't necessarily negate evil. Love is an aspect of good; good in general negates evil. Other aspects of good can be trust, devotion, and selflessness.

Both are meaningless cultural ideas that only exist in thought.
Point to the existence of either currently functioning in your living body right now.........................Does your liver fight the evil fat with love? Ridiculous.
