I don't walk under ladders because things can fall down on me. And I spit three times when a black cat crosses my way.

This sounds weird, but I have a huge dead dragonfly in a compartment in my dash for good luck I guess. I dunno, it doesn't seem like good luck, but it would feel weird not having it in there. I guess it's a security thing.
My husband knows a guy who always drives with a small figurine of The Tick. The one time he took it out of his car a drunk driver hit him and his car caught on fire and it was a complete loss (he was ok, got out in time). So now he has it in every vehicle he drives, even if he is borrowing a car or something.
