Cause you see it that way!!! there is much light as there is dark. the 2 depend on each other. stop thinking in opposites and you will be liberated from such frustration. thing in terms of good and bad is called dualistic thinking. to transcend it you only have to understand that seeing the world is a matter of subjective perspective. life in the here and now and it wont offend you anylonger...it takes time but it helps...

Most people (generally men) are motivted by lust and greed.
People are jealous of everything. My sister was jealous of her girlfriend who had cancer because she had months off with pay, I was in a near fatal car accident and my old neighbor was jealous because he figured I would get a big financial settlement.
People aren't only jealous of the good things you have, they even covet the bad things, as if they want the pity you're going to get for being in pain.
We had a can goods drive at our firehouse and all everbody brought were bent cans of beets,sauerkraut and other inedible krap, and they all wanted an atta boy.
It's just the way people are. If you want to help someone send them a money order and sign it A Friend. Pass on good will. Positive thinking starts with you

Sunny, that is such an excellent question. You know, I don't think it was always like that but now adays...the public carries the "every man for himself" mentality! It's such a shame that things are like this, but if YOU maintain a positive attitude, then it will make coping with negativity much easier. :)

You judge others by yourself. So many people feel badly about themselves and have such low self esteem that it comes out as a negative reaction towards others.

look around at the media and their constant portrayal of all that is sad, bad and mad on the planet. what could you expect from all of this being pumped at us continuously every day.
