I am looking for some information that could tell me the amount of pay that a US Army soldier/officer received each month. (during World War 2)

Could you include links that include information for private through general ranks?

Thanks!

I couldn't find all levels, but I did find a website for a Private. This is a first hand account, so it should be accurate. It seems Privates were payed, in 1942, $21 before deductions. In 1943, the pay was raised to $50 a month. The website explains more and it is interesting reading from one person's perspective.
