NEED A MIRACLE

Waiting for God to Answer my prayers, that I am able to be the right person for someone to enter into my life for life. That my past experience of marriage will be a blessing in disguise, that second time around I am not self centred, paranoid, jealous, impatient or ignorant, anything I am not aware of that would hinder me from being the person I am supposed to be. That I meet a woman who is a christian loves God with all their heart mind body and soul has no expectations and is able to love me for me a slightly balding on top 38 year old divorcee. Sound inviting? Hahha

Sounds like an advert but alas God's Still working on me as the sign says:

"Under Construction"
"Work in Progess"
"Men Working Above"

A long contract and a lot of investment later maybe.

Or a MIRACLE.

As NORN_o6 says...pointless! (A wise head on young shoulders that one!!) A piece of paper, a made to measure bit of metal or two, a huge cost, an even bigger gamble.....POINTLESS, as norn says. In my parents day, in the '40s--'50s--marriage meant something between two people, it symbolised something, but its all money now, and the only people who benefit are the lawyers/solicitors.

I'm 17 and wont be married for a long time... i couldn't be with somebody for that length of time at the moment, like my own space and not to be obliged to do things that i don't want to do.

Well, to answer this, I guess I should say that the one that I love isn't ready. She's one of my best friends and I love her. She doesn't want to get married until she's 30. I want to get married now but because I love her, I'll wait for as long as it takes. i'll do that because I know that she's right for me.

Because i have crap taste in men! My last one stood me up on my birthday a previous one dumped me on NYE, so the chances of not getting stood up at my wedding are pretty slim I reckon!

Dont see the point in marriage,
its a piece of paper that literally costs £1000's of pounds.
And another few grand to destroy it.

Pointless =]

...and im only 17
