Shoaib Malik, the present Captain of Pakistan Cricket Team is a very good allrounder.
He started his career as an off spinner, and is now regarded as a useful batsman with a batting average in the mid 30s in both Test and ODI cricket. During his Test career he has batted at 5 different positions, mainly either opening or at 6th position. Malik has the unusual record of batting at every position except 11th in ODIs.

Shoaib Malik is no doubt a great find of PCB... he is an energetic player and young all rounder...some people are critisizing the decision of PCB of chosing shoaib malik as the new captain of our cricket team...which is no fair...shoaib malik should be given a chance to prove his abilities...captainship is not only for senior players...youngster should also be given a chance to prove themselves...
welll ... i will say chosing shoaib malik as a captain is a very very good decision... he will be long term captain which we require....our best wishes r with shoaib malik....we will pray to Allah for ur and pakistani team success....
BEST OF LUCK

One of the Worst cricketer along with afridi the cricket world ever produce.. Hes dont have any batting technique.. when hes on crease, the batting image of 5-6 year kid come in mind.. and he always make runs when team losses most No of wickets and the target total look unreacable. My nephew whos age is 10 year he also play like shoaib malik technique :D

shoaib malik is an excellent all rounder and is a quick learner.
i definitely think he will improve his batting averages by being a captain and take more responsibility n become more disciplined like inzamam did.
i was really impressed the way he leaded the Pakistani team against sri lanka because he was full of fresh ideas.
i think he is a better choice than yousuf because mailik has many years to improve.

Shoaib Malik, not doubt he is great player (alrounder) & not bad choice for the captaincy, he is also seniour & gentle cricketer, & he is also improve is cricket after the captaincy, not forget about last series pak vs sri lanka in last match, whether shoaib was played captain inng. so he is great choice for pakistan cricket team & also pakistan cricket board, & he is the one of guy who get chance in asian eleven captain in twenty20 cup.

i think he is an ideal choice for captain. initially, i thought yousuf shud hav been appointed but, shoaib brings with him an youthful enthusiasm and intelligence which is bound to infect the players around him. he is non controversial, capable with both ball and bat, and he is one of the best fielders. u cant get more credibility than tht!

One of the best players in the sub-continent right now, good cricketing mind and can bowl a bit as well. If he can work out a few of his problems on seeming wickets (just like 95% of Asian Batsmen) he will have a great future.

He has to fight for his place in one day team and in test team he certainly does not deserve a place there are better test circketers than him but due to politics he is the skipper this can only happen in Pakistan.
Poor administrators poor decision is shoib malik.

A bowler whose bowling action was suspect and didn't bowl for long in ODIs and Tests. Has now resumed his bowling. Has of late developed into a good attacking batsman;has mainly stayed clear of controversies;probably that's why he was given the captaincy.
