Thumbs up or thumbs down?

Question

When giving an answer to a question, which ones do you give out the most or which ones describe you the most?

I probably give out more thumbs up, but I give out a lot of thumbs down. For me it's just punctuation to end my reading of an answer. I only hold back a thumb if I have mixed feelings about an answer.

Sometimes I give every answer thumbs up, even contradictory ones, because they're all OK for the question asked. Sometimes there's one right answer, and the rest just don't know of what they speak, so I give one up and the rest down.

I understand the position that thumbs down is harsh criticism deserved only by an obnoxious answer. I don't see it that way.

I like 2 give thumbs up. I give credit where I c it given. Especially when i cant choose best answer I like 2 share the thumbs. =)

I don't bother too much with the thumbs or stars, unless it's really interesting and I'm feeling generous.

As for thumbs down, I give them to trolls and offensive idiots.

I give out more thumbs down. I see A LOT of stupid answers. I hate it when people type in: piuhsfipuoawgorihg for the answer. And i see that a lot.

Mostly thumbs up, I only give a thumbs down if I see an answer which is solely intended to offend without being in anyway humorous.

Thumbs up because i know that there are more people on here who give good answers instead of bad ones.

I like "thumbing up" especially people who answer my questions, in a sort of "thank you" way.
But I have seen people who like to give thumb down to everyone and this is childish. I recently had a disagreement with a kid (15 years old) because she said something offensive (about the children of those who disagree with her dying of cancer!) and she has been following my answers and giving thumb down to all of them.
How sad!!

I never give thumbs down unless REALLY needed...I prefer to give thumbs-up.
