Bush isn't eloquent. He is a horrible president and doesn't deserve to be in the whitehouse. I agree with the other person that Reagan was a great speaker. So was Abraham Lincoln. Bush is nothing compared to them or most other presidents for that matter. He won't listen to the people like he should

I have to say, I don't think Bush is stupid. And not everyone is a good public speaker. But I would think that after having given so many speeches, he would have made some improvement. At least he gives youtubers something to laugh at.

Bush, like most recent presidents, has a core of speech writers who are well versed in poli-speak. Like many other presidents of both parties, he gets into trouble when he doesn't follow the script. Americans are too well accustomed to well scripted actors and seem to like our politics drenched in meaningless symbolic gobbly goop.

Not in my opinion. Many I'm sure will disagree with me but I think Hillary Clinton seems to be the best speaker. At least in the primary debates so far.

No...He isn't...I wish he were, but I also don't discount his abilities based on that flaw. Many highly intelligent people are lousy speakers. Ask anyone who has gone to college and had to sit though painful hours with lousy professors.
