They say the best way to get over a man is to get under another, but I'm not sure that's good advice.
My advice would be to avoid the whole "we'll stay friends" thing as inevitably one or other of the 2 people in the relationship is still hung up on their ex and will find it really difficult to see them without rekindling the flames of desire.
Go out with your friends and get a hobby or 2 to keep your mind off him.

If you have loved someone, that's great ! God wants everyone to love thy neighbor. It makes the world a much better place. Move on with your life and find new loves.
It's not always the most handsome guy that will stay with you forever. Look for Intellegence, and what a guy will do for you.
and what you can do for him. Being honest with a person
is what will cause a relationship to work. Watch out some guys only want one thing, and then your relationship is over. be careful, God Bless you, Clyn

There is no magical answer other than time. It takes time to get over someone fully. But you can do lot of things to take your mind off the issue to keep you sane:)

Get out of the house, sulking and crying does not make it better!!
Hang out with friends.
Invest in a new hobby.
Go out and get to know new people; friends first!! Dont rush!!
Dont put yourself in situations that will make you upset.
Go shopping!
Go to the beach! Enjoy the Sun!!

When you occupy yourself with things to do, youll find that you dont think about that person as much. You might be having fun or smiling when that thought comes up.

Ive been through it believe me!!

First.. never sit at home and sulk over your lost.. you will you go into depression and once you get into that state it is very hard to get out of it.. Get out and do things that make you happy.. Things that will take your mind off that person.. Go out with freinds.. maybe meet someone knew if you are comfortable with that.. It is ok to have just freinds also.. Just keep your self busy.. Stay positive.. and realize that life goes on.. keep the good memories of that person in your heart and think of it as a learning experience..
Good Luck to you!

When you truly love someone...even though you may have "moved on" there will always be somehting there for that person. Just take your time, meet new people...love is something special, you cant expect to fall out of it just like that.

Move on. Hang out with friends, meet new people, find a new love. Keep yourself busy. Don't keep calling them, get rid of photos and hang out in different places.

Well, you can always chill out with some friends. Friends always help me feel better. If that doesn't work, look for someone else. Find some other really cute guy.
