me and my m8s are doing rocky horror (time warp) for our music festival which has to be infront of the rest of the school including teachers so we were just wondering what would be the best thing to wear since we cant properly go all rocky horror style since we'll get in trouble for that so anyone got any ideas that arents too slutty but still in theme ???

Have any of the answerers seen Rocky Horror?
Most of the dancers wear tuxedos and funky sunglasses.
The principal dancers [ Riffraff and Magenta and Columbia ] have special outfits:
Riffraff - blacktie and tails, no shirt, 'spats, cadaver' makeup
Magenta - 'french maid' - corset, fishnets, short skirt or tutu, platform shoes, magenta hair
Columbia - corset, striped satin shorts, sparkly 'fedora' hat, tap shoes
Spectators: [ you could probably omit them ]
Janet - white bra, white half slip, white shoes
Brad - white T, tighty whiteys [ prob should replace with boxers ] white socks, black shoes
[ Rocky and Dr. Frankenfurter aren't even in the scene ]
My son used to re-enact as Riffraff and Rocky - we have done the time warp at several weddings!

If you can't dress as the RH characters, why not just have fun with it and be creative. You and each of your friends can dress in clothing from a different time period.
Let's say you dress as Ben franklin, another person dresses as a cave man, another as King Arthur, another as an Egyption Pharoh, another as a 1920's flapper... you get the idea.
When I was still active in a Rocky Horror cast, we did this as part of our pre-show from time to time. It goes over very well. As long as you have fun with it, so will the folks watching you.

I been doing rhps, for 16 years, But when I 1st started. I did a school rocky horror (time warp). With a few friends. For Col, I had my show costume. With Mags, she got a maids costume from a store & Riff got a tails from the sal val.
But now you can go to a costume store & get the Rocky Horror Coustumes in a bag. That would work fine for a school thing. They also sell them on ebay. You can even get wigs too.
