Heterosexual
Homosexual
Transsexual

It's just pretty much a label to tell others what you are or what your preference is in a much nicer way then running around calling people "dyke" or "******" all the time.

and I purposely misspelled that word because yahoo will not allow the word to be shown.

Actually, I'm classified as "bisexual", but I don't even like that name. No, I don't like "homosexual" either. Both focus on the sex part of who we are... and it's not the act of sex that defines us. What makes me bi is the fact that I am attracted to, turned on by, like the attention of... both males and females. I knew I was bi before I even had sex, so how could it be the act of sex that defines who we are???

Not really. Heterosexual neither in fact. I love sexual orientation, as if I'm a compass pointing to a beautiful horizon.

(sigh, i'm so romantic, so tiresome).

What is there to dislike about the word? It just means "same sex" while heterosexual means "opposite sex". There are far worse words used to describe gay men.
