When I went in 98, it was another washout. We didn't take a tent and we left all our belongings in the car park (about 6 miles away). I ended up sleeping int the "Jungle" tent, half on a crate, half on a bin bag. When I woke up the next morning I a stranger's dreadlocks in my mouth. Nice. Didn't actually see any bands - good times!!! Money well spent, I'd say.

Just got back and had a great time. Camped on Paines ground, the new area, it's a bit far from everything but it wasn't packed and because it's a bit higher, my tent was nice and dry. Had waterproof clothes and wellies, so the rain didn't bother me and watched lots of bands, and performers, had fun with my friends and enjoyed good food and pear cider. Loved it!!

got back yesterday about 1 in the morning, stayed up drinking with a mate sleep for an hour then got the train back to norwich to go to school! had an awesome glastonbury was there for nearly two weeks actually. camping with mates staying in a bender, doing a bit of work at a cocktail bar (rocket rays) which meant free strawberry daquiris and free ticket in the first place! took hardly any drugs woo! wen i did fell asleep dancing at a gar bar lol. saw loads of bands killers kasabian jamie t mr scruff amy winehouse lily allen kaiser chiefs.. kates boyfriends band lol. yeah it was excellent i really didnt wanna go home. the only non glastonbury moment i had was having a shower! that was more trouble than it was worth though because it was freezing and the shitsuckers were outside cleaning out the toilets... yummy...
scariest thing was when i drove to lincolnshire with this mad austrailian and the bosses three year old son to his grandparents. he was driving about 100mph snorting a line and on the phone whilst the baby was crying because he wanted some 'sherbet'. yes i feared for our lives lol

I have never been to Glastonbury but I just watched that new Documentary about it and it got on my p!ssing nerves. Nothing but weirdos and smelly hippies and fence jumpers. I thought it was going to be about the bands but all you get is a few snippets here and there. The rest of it is shaky footage of unwashed, drunk, or stoned fools being "alternative" for two and a half hours...w@nk! I turned it off after a while.

I would hope that they are all having a good soak in the bath, to get all that mud off of them. Not my kind of thing i'm afraid. Like the comforts of a warm bed and clean clothes too much. But hope you all enjoyed yourselves any way!
