Go for quality not quantity. Many airlines, hotels etc have excellent quality. Also odd materials - eg wood, plastic, gold, silver, e.p.n.s., brass. And odd uses - eg Welsh love spoons, souvenir-badged ones. And odd things made from (usually bent or filigree'd) spoons. It's a wonderful hobby. (You too should get out more, bullbusbutt)..

On well on the property I probably have 40. Guesstimating the one behind the sofa, in sock drawers, pencil boxes and other places the girls leave them.
in the kitchen drawer I have seven
I restock in charity shops where I just take the nice ones.

Once I bought them back from the girls, but it was too pricey. i offered £1/$2 each and it wasn't enough, apparently

Maybe they go to lost spoontown, next to the "cheque is the post" village and "I'll call you back" town

16 in the original flatware, and I think I've lost 5. Then another 16 in the new set I bought (same pattern). I haven't used those....so 27 total...plus the 4 ice teaspoons. (*laughter*)

It's not teaspoons in our house - it's forks.
I keep getting into trouble with the mother in law for taking them to eat my packed lunch at work and then leaving them at work!!! Plastic cutlery is the way forward.
