Scenes From An Italian Restaurant
Since Billy Joel grew up about five miles from me, here's some Billy Joel trivia. When he sings about the Village Green in the above named song that is referring to the North Village Green in Levittown, Long Island. About one mile north of the Village Green is a laundromat, where Billy Joel used to go and sleep at night when he got arguments with his step-father. He also grew up a few blocks behind a catholic school, Holy Trinity. And another Billy Joel trivia, he and Eddie Money (Two Tickets to Paradise) singer, then Eddie Mahoney, competed against each other in 1965 in a Battle of the Band contest at MacArthur High School in Levittown. Both now millionaire performers lost.

We Didn't Start the Fire!
(because in my history class this year we got put into groups and were assigned a time period and had to rewrite the song - it was actually pretty fun, lol)
Next song that comes to mind is Piano Man, and third song is New York State of Mind.

I guess I'm unlike most people -- my brain started shuffling through the album Glass Houses when I saw this question. "You May Be Right," "Don't Ask Me Why," "It's Still Rock and Roll to Me," etc. I guess I like that album the best.
I predict that "Piano Man" will end up the top response, since that's probably his most distinctive tune and has given him his nickname.

First - "Honesty" , cause i made fun of myself a few years ago by testing out my friends karaoke machine singing that song, and i LIKE the song and i did a serious good effort on it. Second, i won't mention the song cause i plan on doing a remake of it just as it was written, but with heavier guitar (i'm a guitarist) ....but i will tell you - it's on the same release as Honesty...

Only the Good Die Young
I like the hidden meaning of the song, and how he had a gig at a University where they asked 'em to sing any song except this one and he sang it 6 times in a row and they added him to their blacklist.

Well, I think white wedding that is because I confuses Billy Joel with Billy Idol. But then I think of the longest time.
