I don't answer the questions that are phrased in such a way that you can tell the asker is looking for one answer and won't accept anything else. I don't need to waste my time stroking someone else's ego. I think it's best to ask something because you want a variety of points of view.
Also, there are a lot of questions that seem to have been typed really quickly -- these tend to ramble on, and it's just not clear what the question actually is. I either ignore those posts or think up a nonsensical response.
Oh, and I don't answer the ones that have been asked dozens of times. Like the one about who the Blazers should pick in the NBA draft. Pay attention to the site, folks! That question gets asked every couple of hours.

Anything that has racism or something about a negative world since I want to live in a positive world, otherwise I will report the person asking the question - don't worry, I won't report you. This is a good question.

anything on sports (i haven't got a clue)
questions on teenage dating problems (got sick of answering them)
anything on religion / spirituality (don't want to get involved in that kind of debate... tends to get nasty.)
political questions (for the same reason as the religious questions)
and i also don't answer a question unless i have something useful to say.... can't stand it when people answer just 'yes' or 'no'.... so obvious that all they want is the 2 points...

If I don't know anything about the subject, which especially includes those questions which begin by saying, "I have this unusual discharge...."
I avoid those the most.
