It is not racist - it is satire.
Sometimes showing how bad racism is does more to stop it than alot of other ways. But it is very hard to pull off and Blazing Saddles did it.
They knew what they were doing before they started, believe me.

I have never heard of the film being described as racist for the simple reason that it isn't. It is anything but racist.
