how small is small... under 10... under 12... ?? and what type of R matters... sex is one thing, violence another... sex with violence still another matter... and how graphic. Only parents would know best what their child can handle and I think some things a child does not need in their head... adults too for that matter... everything sticks and has a memory.... So, to answer your question... overall I would say no. Also, I don't want little kids acting like kids, if you know what I mean like talking, laughing, making noise etc., while I am watching a movie geared to adults. Really makes me mad.

I'm 13 and I watch R rated movies all the time! Well, I cheat to get into those. But no, nobody under the age of 18 can even go to an R rated movie.

depends. how small? what movie?

for the most part R movies are rated that way because "small children" shouldn't be exposed to the type of lang etc.

Absolutely not! Once a child has seen those images, it is there forever, and they don't need that. They'll see and hear enough later on anyway.
