Today our celebrities like neocon idol Paris Hilton are too busy getting trashed and being whores to care about our country, sad.

In these fascist, heavily media-controlled times; actors and actresses know that speaking out against the war could cost them their careers. Others who speak out anyway don't get any media coverage are are made to look like kooks.
Look at Rosie O'Donnell--she spoke out against the war and got booted from The View after several attempts by producers to stifle her and tell her what she can and can't talk about. The Dixie Chicks were all over the right-wing media which encouraged people to boycott them. For what? For the crime of saying that they're embarrassed to be from the same state as Bush. Bash Clinton all you want, but don't you DARE speak ill of our Fuhrer BUSH!!!
One last point; unlike during Vietnam, the media often simply ignores those protesting against the war. We've had a MASSIVE protest in this country--and around the world--before the war began in Iraq. Did the news cover the enormity of this protest? No!!!
And it's a media-perpetuated lie that young people don't protest. Just look at the majority of the protesters locked up at Pier 57 in New York for simply being out on the streets and you'll realize that most of the protesters ARE young people!

Jane Fonda is still loved by the true Americans that were part of Vietnam. Chickenhawks that moon over Paris Hilton in jail need to be educated with a draft to Iraq.

Jane Fonda SHOULD HAVE BEEN tried and hung for high treason. She was personally responsible for the deaths of our servicemen in Vietnam. Our POWs gave her their SSNs so their families would know they were still alive and she turned those notes over to the VC, and those men were beaten and some were killed.
How could you even suggest that someone, celebrity or not, commit treason? Out of the mouth proceed the matters of the heart. If you love your country as you say you do -- and understand, I don't doubt that you love your country -- do some research and gain some understanding about the issues at hand and don't just parrot what you hear everyone else saying. That doesn't make you smart, it makes you a puppet.

One piece of good news is that Ryan Reynolds (Amityville Horror, Blade III, Van Wilder) is now blogging for the Huffington Post.
Paris Hilton and her ilk are just vapid do-nothings. Is she even aware there is a war going on? Unless it affects her ability to get her Versace or Uggs, I don't think she gives a damn.

????? Celebrities of all ages have been protesting Bush and the war with their liberal whacko views since the 2000 election. Sean Penn (aka the former Mr. Madonna) went to Iraq and blasted Bush, the Ditzy Chicks, uh Dixie Chicks, bad-mouthed Bush in London, the list goes on. None of them have been photographed in an enemy tank like Hanoi Jane but of course the enemies we're fighting likes IEDs and bombs more than conventional weapons and vehicles.

I'd rather our celebrities be brainless like Paris than traitors like Jane Fonda. I'm not for the war, but Fonda got our troops killed. Is that what you want?

They already do - that's the liberal Hollywood crowd for you - the real question is what Hollywood celebrities don't protest the war!! They don't know anything about world affairs except let's leave the Middle East and retreat.

A lot of them are out their spouting their rhetoric. They are smart enough not to go meet with Bin Laden which would put them on par with Fonda who met with the North Vietnamese and actually told on POWS who tried to get her to let the Americans know they were alive.

I strongly suspect it's because the North Viet Namese welcomed Hanoi Jane with open arms and played her like a old violin.
I doubt the Islamic terrorists would welcome an infidel with anything but a large machete and a video camera.
