At three months the hormones are kicking in and this is time to get them both neutered. They will have a hormone surge for the next few weeks and get can slightly more aggressive until the hormones calm down. make sure you take them to the vets together as if one goes, when it returns, the mate might reject him because of the strange smells on him, but if they go together and get done together they will turn to each other for comfort thus reinforcing the bond. As for mounting, they may continue to do this as this is just to see who is the boss of the hutch. This is normal and nothing to worry about. If they start fighting, a local rescue will rebond them for you, don't seperate, as this will make rebonding more difficult.

Like icequeen said, 2 rabbits will eventually start fighting with each other. Males will kill each other, even if neutered. You will have to keep them in separate cages. Neutering will help reduce aggression in general, as many rabbits will be aggressive toward people as well.

you'd be better off having her done, if they should mate, and she has babies then she's fertile again only an hour after giving birth and rabbits aren't known particularly for their maternal skills, they often get frustrated at being in their hutch and will adandon their babies. But if she does succesfully rear them until their 6-8 weeks old, most pet shops will take them off your hands in return for something like a bag of food.

Usually Rabbits start to become *active* around 3 months of age. You should separate them or else they will start to fight and well hump each other until one is dead.

The best choice is to separate them.

GET THEM NEUTERED VERY QUICKLY. Two male rabbits will probably start fighting when they hit puberty. If you want to keep them together as friends, you need to get them neutered.

If they are both male, then there's not much point to having them fixed. They can mount all day, but it won't cause any problems.

Unless you plan to eat an awful lot of rabbits you better get him neutered.

I would get him neutered because if not you will have plenty of little rabbits and it will cause the bunny if he is neutered to be more calm.
