well the price of course- server 2003 is anywhere from $500-3000. u can buy server versions of linux for less than $100 or free.

Realability- server 2003 requires a lot of upkeep, while linux does not mess up a lot or most of the time not at all.

Ease of use- windows is much easier to set up thing than linux
