Yes it's a scam. Agents don't do that. I work in an agent's office and the last thing they do on their time off is walk around malls and look for talent.

And don't listen to anything Matthew S up there just told you because he clearly doesn't know what he's talking about. If they ask you to pay anything it is most definitely a scam. Agents don't make money that way. They don't make money until you do. They send you on an audition and if you get it they take 10% of what you make from that job. Go to the SAG website and look up some information on agents and get yourself informed.

Sorry, but Disney doesn't have talent scouts. It's a scam. Think about how many kids want to be actors on Disney channel... they do not need to approach anyone in the mall.

A scam is the best thing this could be. This is potentially something much worse. PLEASE STAY AWAY! If you got a phone number give it to the police. I'm serious! I've heard of plenty of "talent scout" scams involving schools and scam agencies. But never anything like this. Tell your parents IMMEDIATELY! Be careful, okay.

Disney does not have talent scouts.
Therefore, this is a scam.

The only way to really get on DC is to have a good agent who can submit you to auditions (assuming DC is casting people of your type).
