What's the best personality type for a Business Administration degree program?

I'm a creative type, so I'm wondering if I would struggle in the Bus Admin program. I think it would be a better degree to get, as opposed to something like English, but I'm wondering if I would be bored, and therefore not successful in the program.

Years ago, the conventional wisdom would be that a Type A (not you) personality would do better in Business Administration, but with the changes that have taken place in business over the past decade, including the focuses on entrepreneurship, creativity, "quality" management, and the work of such writers as Brian Tracey (The Psychology of Achievement), Stephen Covey (7 Habits ...), and others, I think you could find a lot to hold your interest and to challenge your creative mind in the area of Business Administration. Marketing might be a particularly "creative" are of B.A. to focus on ~ just a thought. MBA's are definitely worth considering because they give entree to a remarkably wide choice of career fields.

If you are inquisitive, excited about pulling together people and projects, willing to use your creativity to help make money, interested in communication and marketing, a business degree is a good alternative to an English degree. I know, I have and English degree, but found all my opportunities in the field of business, and wish I had been better prepared. If you work directly with entrepreneurs, business in never boring.

Business Administration, like Business, is open to people of all personality types. I am a creative type (Myers Brigg type ENTP -- you know, the kind of people who have trouble thinking inside the box) and thrived in B-School. In fact, I went on for a PhD & am now a B-School professor.
