sometimes i get a period twice a month
once i got it 3 times but they are really lite
and they usually last for about 3-7 days
is that bad
but my period started about 1 year ago
Is my body just adjusting to the change
or is this bad?

its fine, about 40% of women dont have a regular rythem of periods, u will find aswell as you go on in life, youre periods will settle down. its compleatly natural:)

That is completely normal. It sometimes takes girl's bodies up to 2 or 3 years to adjust.

yes your body will be adjusted in another 3 -6 months.

thats when you will get a normal period once a month.

my daughter did the same and when i took her to the doc she said she is good just takes over a yr to get normal.

The best advice that I can give you is go to your mom and ask her about it. You can also go to the link below to go to a site that will give you useful info about periods. Your body is just adjusting to the change. Don't worry. =)

It may be just regulating itself. I think that you should ask your doctor why you would get it 3 times in one month though.
