I love my life in the big city... Yet in a small town you get to know almost everyone in live with less stress and expenses...

I think that ideally I would love to live in a green quiet suburb of a big city and have a second home in a small town, or a rural area in my country...

Small city....I feel safe and can get anywhere I need to be within 15 minutes by car. My teen daughter has a job just 5 minutes (walk) away and she can walk to the malls and school. I grew up in the country and it was boring when I got older. I moved back to the country when my daughter was 6 for 3 years. That was great for her at that age but she is really glad we live in town now.

With the exception of Farm, I have lived in all sorts of places.
Weighing the advantages of all of them, I would say city.
Right in the city.
Especially if it has a good transit system.

I like the different architecture and the DIVERSITY, as opposed to suburb, small town or rural monotony.

Each has good and bad values. It is up to you what is right form you.

I lived and was raised in a small town, worked on the farms as a teenager and traveled much in the military and my second career. I lived in or near cities.

I prefer island life things always seem to be more laid back and a little less hurried. But I do love to visit the U.S. for the shopping and the endless miles of road. Where I live the island is only 21miles long and to see such big roads, building, shops, malls and even the cars, is an eye opener.

I live on the outskirts of a small town and we have a barn so I guess we live in a rural environment. I absolutely love it!!! I now have a horse and other animals that I couldn't have when I lived in town. I always wanted to have a horse and now I have one and I love him to death! It is so peaceful and quiet.

I will choose big city. However, it does wear on you...the constant noise and activity, so I search out parks where it is quiet. Went for a walk yesterday in DT Columbus, Prk of Roses, and saw a deer eating grass, right there in town!!
