Religious and social beliefs aside, there are three MAJOR problems with bestiality.

1. It is impossible to prove that you've received "consent" from an animal.

2. Due to structural and biological differences, it is physically dangerous for both. Let me give you a quick rundown of just HOW dangerous.

People have died doing this (Catherine the Great of Russia for example) - imagine you irritate the horse and it kicks you? Wrestling in bed with a five-hundred pound gorilla? We humans break easy . . . .

That and I probably don't even need to go into the problems inherent with massive differences in the size and structure of some animals genitalia. This alone can cause severe injury (even major internal bleeding) to one or both parties.

Also keep in mind that you each carry diseases (particularly STD's) that under any other circumstances that species would never be exposed to - you could theoretically begin an epidemic. (There is a theory that the AIDS virus was originally a monkey STD - use your imagination).

3. Finally, and probably most simply: It's against the law!

Less of a major problem, but I think also important, is that if some one has developed that kind of desire for an animal, it will almost certainly keep them from enjoying the level of care, love, and intimacy possible only with another human being.

And yes, it's a taboo by almost every social, religious, or cultural standard.

Definitely wrong. Definitely not natural. Even for humans. Height of selfishness.

Its certainly wrong, but NOT because the bible says so, because human morals, which have evolved to suit our social aspect of life, say so.
