You don't need a church to be close to god. All you need is a cross two hands and faith. If she doesn't believe that then she IS worser then you.
We are all sinners, no matter what! We lie, we cheat, we lust we are gluttons, we have pride and dignity(your pride for a long relationship), we have wrath(taking out ppl to feel better for ourselves), we have sloth and we also have envy. Whether or not you have sinned or she has sinned either way you are equal, because sins add up. Just be as humble to her as she is mean to you. Then you would have proven you have as much faith as her.

I think what's most ironic is that church-goers are so self-righteous and judgmental, when their Lord says to "love your neighbor as yourself" and "judge not, that you be not judged." So, yes, ironic and sad. but forgive her, cuz she knows not what she does...

she has no place to judge, going to church is all good, if that is what you believe in, but judging someone because of the choices they make is not right
