Online. I really would have like more information about WHY you want fork handles. It wouldn't affect my answer, I'm just nosey. Are you making your own forks? Or just want to replace handles on current forks? Do you want a larger handle to make them easy to hang onto? See, you've left me with all these unanswered questions.

You have bought a ringer, before you go any further, find another GSXR and look closely at the frame number, see what the style of lettering and spacing is like and compare it to yours, and the positioning of the number, they should be in the same position, style and align neatly. If this is off then the whole bike is dodgy, you could run an HPI check which should give the insurance history. If you report it to the police you will lose your cash and the bike, however you could be riding a bike that has been assembled by people who deal in stolen parts – how much do you trust them to have done a decent job? A ground off number can be scanned (I cannot remember the name of the process) and some or all of the digits can be read, there is no legit reason to grind off numbers (it is illegal to do so). When you picked it up did you meet at the guy’s house, did you go indoors are you absolutely certain that he lives where you met – the classic ringer scam is to suggest a meeting at a garage halfway between your addresses or to make it appear to you that he lives at an address. V5s are only as accurate as the information given to the DVLA – and can be faked. I am afraid you have been done up like a kipper, if you cannot get your money back from the guy then you should go to the police. Because, a) if you are stopped or an MOT inspector spots it you will be in it up to your neck; b) there is a good chance the bike is a lashup by some backstreet monkey with a socket set and a welder, and; c) someone has had their bike stolen to create yours (or possibly several). And, if you do get your money back, turn the bastard in anyway, if he is unaware then he should be – ignorance is no defence.
