14% approval overall and 3% approval on immigration. Loading up the pork barrel spending, lying like liars always do... The party on the outs says what it needs to say to get in and then becomes the party on the in, the cycle then begins again. At least republicans ostrasize those who may have broken the law or have acted unethically, the dems circle the wagons and blame everyone else.

Because they made promises simply to get votes and have no means to fulfill their promises.
Because they are defying the will of the American people and are angry because we are waking up.
Because they lie and deceive.
Because the only real platform they had was to bash Bush. If you voted on this you got what you deserve. An all negative campaign defines an incompetent candidate. They still don't get it. That is what they continue to campaign about. When will they realize he is not running again?
Alas, the voters were deceived again. When will we learn?

You've got a lead in both the house and senate, but that doesn't mean a hill of BEANS as long as the crazy freak in the oval office has VETO POWER over them ALL...... Stem cell research---passed by congress---VETOED by KING GEORGE. King George scares me---he MIGHT give this country a really big GOOD BYE PRESENT when he leaves office this next January---that idiot might just be crazy enough to PUSH THE "MAGIC RED BUTTON" and blow the world up. Hopefully and I DO mean HOPEFULLY he isn't THAT stupid!!!!!

Yes, why don't you tell them how to change things? They can't actually change the things they got elected for, because Bush vetoes everything that he doesn't like, and we all know how great his judgement is. They don't have the numbers to override a veto, so if you want something to get done, you either need more democrats in congress or a democratic president.

They only have 50 seats in the Senate. There are 49 Republicans and 1 Crazy Lieberman. So even if they are completely 100% united on a bill, they can't pass legislation without some help from either one Republican or the Crazy Lieberman.
Their lead in the House is also not what I would call "comfortable".

you cant continue to promise, not deliver and not expect people to get mad. the problem with the free lunch as so many extremists like the pelosi/reid regime NEVER understand is someone ultimately has to pay for it and when the bill comes due, the liberal faithful usually scatter.

They are too democratic. So they don't have one individual who tells them all how to think like the republicans have. The result is that even though they have a slight majority in Congress, there are still different attitudes and perspectives to be satisfied.
Democracy in action can be slow but it sure beats the facism we had before.

Democrats love to lie to get elected and sadly there were too many fooled by them last year. Hopefully Pelosi and Reid would wake them up in 2008.
see how those Liberals start blaming the Republicans.
remember how they promised that they will get at least 70% of America support?? LOL

They lack moral clarity.
I can't believe the left fell for their anti-war rhetoric when they all know the war against islamofacists is real.
