Sounds like the defrost line is stopped up.

There should be a removable plate at the top of fridge, covering the drain to the freezer..
If so, remove the plate and run a wire through the drain.

If you have a frost free fridge you might have a blocked drain tube. This tube runs from a pan that is located under the freezer compartment. This is not visible. To another pan located under you fridge. The fan that cools the evaporator also evaps this water.

Make sure your refrigerator and freezer are at the appropriate temp. We had ours set to high and then air humidity and freezing and thawing of the ice caused water leaks.

My refridgerator did the same thing....I was told and it worked to clean the coils....depending on your fridge....the coils are either behind the fridge or underneath (like mine)....I vaccummed out alot of animal hair and dust bunnies.....it worked for me, hope it works for you!

its either condensation,or the waterline going to your ice maker is loose.
