I'm a nurse so I have a few handy things dotted about; from general analgesics, to bandages, to sterile water etc, stich cutters and blades. It would be quite a good idea to make it all a designated box. some thing that might be good are:
pair of scissors and a pair of sterile scissors (if you can get them)
some guaze swabs
bandages
plasters
sterile water/ saline
burns and bee sting sprays
some antihystimines (incase of an allergic reaction)
and would be good to keep a bag of frozen veg in the freezer especially designated for sprains/burns etc.....
Hope that helps :)
Oh, I also have a resus mask in the car (you never know!)

Yes I do but mainly because I'm the First Aider at work. Bandages are the main things in it, as well as Plasters (main things that get used first).
At home tho it's a much smaller one & has plasters, one conforming bandage, one triangular bandage, dressings, and antiseptic cream (I can't use cream in work as people may be allergic!)
It's only handy if everyone knows where it is & wot to do with the contents!

I've got a first aid kit, it's got plasters, dressings, paracetamol, micropore tape, an eye bath, a sling, some safety pins and some antiseptic wipes.

It's really handy, I keep it in my kitchen cupboard so I know where it is.

i have in a way. I always carry "Dettol spray" and plasters, which have been used many times when out with the kids. I do have plasters, bandages etc indoors but it isn't a proper first aid kit.

Yes, I call it the Holy Bible...

Do ye look on things after the outward appearance? If any man trust to himself that he is Christ's, let him of himself think this again, that, as he is Christ's, even so are we Christ's.
2 Corinthians 10:7
