If I have a triangle 61.25 inches tall, and 113.5 inches long, how do I find what the height is at every 12 inches?

I'd use Similar Triangles.

Note that this assumes it's a right triangle (e.g., the triangle slopes from 0 to 61.25 over the course of 113.5 inches).

Then, at 12 inches, you'd have this equation:

h / 12 = 61.25 / 113.5
h = about 6.476 inches

Assuming you know at least one angle, you can calculate a couple-three of the heights then workout the percentage increase between each step and calculate the rest.
